An impromptu post about pacifiers...

Look! I uploaded a video!!! It has only taken me a year to figure out how! Granted, it was not the video I intended, but we will consider it a success no less.

So...yeah...pacifiers...where do I go with this?

Well, with this kind of binky there isn't a bulb on the end, so they are constantly slipping out of an infant's mouth.

Fortunately, Avery figured out that she could keep the darn thing in her mouth if she used her hand. What a smart cookie!

Although, it really is easier to use her Mom's hand to keep it in place.

But her foolish Mom had other things to do, which left Avery on her own. This lead to Avery picking up some bad habits.

Quickly, her parents intervened and placed the pacifier out of reach, much to Avery's dismay.

Not to be outdone by her parents, Avery pulled out some ninja moves.

And crept closer and closer to the unsuspecting paci (which is what such things are called here in Indiana.)

Using all her strength, she made one final lunge towards her rightful prize.

Ah, sweet success. It's pretty good to be a ninja.

  2. That's so funny! I am glad she is such a good ninja! Archie loves his paci too, we use the nuk brand because the outside is curved and didn't fall out so much before he figured out how to pick it up and put it in himself! But I love the one like yours because you can see them sucking! Cute cute! I am impressed by her rolling over skills too!
