Trader's Point Creamery

Early on in Kelsey's visit we drove up to this creamery.

My sister is a bit of an organic nut, so we knew she would enjoy the trip.

And Avery had never seen real cows before, so she was fascinated by them.

I mean, who couldn't love these two cuties!

We then went on a nature walk through the dairy farm.

We traveled pretty well when we were on the dirt road, but then we were lead into some vegetation.

Which forced us to get up close and personal with it.

Fortunately we met Farmer Kyle along the way.

And he pointed out the local critters in the forest.

This sign greeted us as we approached a cute little creek.

Kelsey was a-hoppin,

Kyle was a-leapin,

and Avery was a-watchin.

Then it was time to complete our loop back to the farm to get some milkshakes! (Yes, it is perfectly acceptable to have ice cream at 10:30 in the morning.)

And even though they were $6.50 a shake,

they were absolutely delicious!

...And a tad bit messy. ;)

  2. Wow, look at you busting out those mad photography skills! You got some beautiful pictures. That place looks beautiful. I'm sure the milkshakes were from happy cows, so it's worth the extra moolah, right?
