Queen Concert

What could be cooler than listening to the Indianapolis Symphony playing outside with a Queen cover band?

Well my friend, the only thing that could make it cooler is if you were on a date without your child!

I know, not the most flattering picture, but this was history in the making and it needed to be recorded. We have never gone anywhere in Indy without our little one, and it was time!

We even brought a gourmet dinner with us. Behold my peanut butter and banana sandwich,

and Kyle's PB and J.

I know, classy with a capital C! Almost as classy as this belly (which was taken last week, so believe me, it's only gotten cuter since then!)

This was an awesome concert though. Queen was meant to have a symphony behind them and it sounded so good (I still remember when Metallica came out with an album with a symphony and it was AMAZING for my middle school soul!)

Plus, we had a lovely view of the sunset.

And the lead singer did sound just like Freddie Mercury. For any of you Queen fans out there they did renditions of:

I want It All
These Are The Days of Our Lives
Another One Bites the Dust
Under Pressure
Killer Queen
Stone Cold Crazy
The Show Must Go On
Fat Bottomed Girls
Who Wants to Live Forever
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Too Much Love Will Kill You
Dreamer's Ball
Somebody to Love
Bohemian Rhapsody
We Will Rock You
We Are the Champions

And it turns out that Avery was asleep within an hour of us dropping her off at our friend's house and was a perfect little angel. Even when we woke her up to drive her home.

Definitely a successful Friday night!
