A Birthday Saga: 2

After working up quite the sweat from her vigorous dance moves, it was time to cool off in her pool.

Which was made ready that morning by her loving mother. As in, it took me over an hour to blow it up (we don't own a fancy-schmancy pump, my lungs may never be the same) and fill with water (we don't own a hose...or a water spigot. We DO own a kitchen sink and 2 bowls that alternated getting filled while the other was dumped into the pool.) Like I said, it was done by a loving mother.

Which, I'll be honest, was totally worth it! Check out that face!

So on went the bathing suit, complete with safety pin to help keep those straps up.

And into the pool she went.

She LOVED it!

It was like "bath time joy", but on steroids.

She would crawl from the deep end to the shallow end (we live on a hill, what's one to do?) stopping every other second to splash her little heart out.

And she graced me these awesome model poses.

Complete success! But again, only the beginning of our adventures!

  1. How in the world did you get that last picture! I'm dying to have a close up of Chloe like this!

  2. Excellent pictures, and looks like an excellent time. I love your shallow end/deep end terminology. Water and kids are always a hilarious combination. And yeah, sounds like you really proved your love in the way you blew up and filled up that pool!
